While most of these stars wear their hair long and fairly straight, there are other Asian hair styles and trends emerging in both the Far East and in North America. We consulted with Ngoc Huynh to find out the latest. Ngoc Huynh is a Vietnamese hair stylist who describes Asian hair as “hard” compared to other hair types because it is heavy, straight and quite resistant to curling and coloring.

This may be why so many women with Asian hair opt for a style that cooperates with their hair’s natural tendency to lie flat.

Huynh says the most popular Asian hair style in her country at the moment is what she calls the leaf or Japanese cut. This style builds layers into a pointed shape, making the most of the hair’s natural body and thickness. But Huynh says a new style is starting to take over from the long, straight look. These days, Asian hair is increasingly in the spotlight with many Asian and Asian-American celebrities gracing the covers of fashion and film magazines.

Even the package reminds the customer of this, because the tube comes in a box that is painted to have a gold color and there is the name and the logo of the company, as well as the name of the line. The tube also has a gold color and there is the name of the company with a chain-like drawing that I suppose was meant to symbolize a necklace or some other jewelry, naturally made of gold.

Maybelline also has a line of metallic colored lipstick that has the name of Forever Metallics. The line has several shades of gold lipsticks and there are some special offers that in case you buy such a lipstick, you will get another one.

While most women like gold metallic lipstick, they should think about whether it looks good on them or not. The most influential thing about this matter is the skin tone that women have. Those who have very fair skin and bright colored hair should avoid this lipstick because it will make their lips disappear. The same thing happens in the case of those women who have fair skin and darker hair. Those women who have darker skin and naturally darker hair should try this color because most probably it will look good on them. Still I wouldn’t advise African American women to wear this lipstick, because the color simply isn’t right for their skin tone. Hispanic women should also think about trying the color because it might look good on them. Naturally there are some other factors as well that might influence your looks, like the color of your eyes and the shape and size of your lips. I think it is better to try it and then decide.
