2009 Long shag hairstyle
2009 Long shag hairstyle
Long shag hairstyles are not as common as short or medium shag hairstyles. However, they do make a great option for anyone who wants a long hairstyle but does not want too many layers. The reason is that long shag hairstyles do not usually include any more than two to three layers.
As you can see there are many shag hairstyles options available for you to choose from. Whether you want a long, medium or short hair style, you may want to consider a shag hairstyle.

It's getting warm outside, and department stores and botiques everywhere are lining their racks with gowns and white dresses of every type and style. That can only mean one thing, prom and wedding season are on top of us. If there's one thing we know about women, especially brides and teenagers, it's that on that one all-important day, they need to look perfect. To help all you women out, at least with one aspect of your look, we've thrown together a gallery of some of the hottest hairstyles for this season. This season, hair has moved away from that stiff ultra-formal look, and it's all about being loose, whimsical and romantic. Take a look and pick your coif of choice:
We have to start with this look. This is the classic, formal updo, and fall back look. When you can't figure out what to do, put it up, curl it, pin it down, and throw in some decoration. It's fun, works with any dress, and it stays in place.

With face framing layers and long sideswept bangs. This easy upsweep with pintucked curls is a classic updo, that can complement any dress.

This look makes the classic, sleeked back updo different. With thick bangs brushed to the side, and a soft ponytail tucked under, with a section wrapped around to form a knot, this style is formal, elegant and different. Add hairpins for subtle detail and this updo is glamorous. Perfect for long straight hair you don't know what to do with.

Braids incorporated into a look are hot this season, but this look puts a twist on the conventional braid. This braided bun takes a soft romantic look , gives it dramatic height and makes it formal, plus your hair isn't going anywhere.

You can never go wrong with curls and waves. Relaxed, corkscrew curls are pulled back into a high ponytail with loose ends falling freely. Wrap your hair with a decorative hair vine, and you've got a look that's simple and elegant.

This elegant look is suprisingly easy and durable, but gives the illusion of being soft and delicate. The hair is put up in sections, and secured with pins. Stick some decorative pins in the top to dress it up, and this look will stay up all night.

A french twist is always in style, and is the perfect elegant look for any dress. Feather is optional of course, and we don't really recommend it, but do feel free to dress the style up with some decorative pins, maybe a hairband or hair vine.

We showed you the french twist (see above), now we bring you, it's fun and funky cousin, the french twist with a tail. Some added volume at the crown, and ends hanging loose, can make the sometimes stuffy style trendy.

If you don't know what else to do, curl it. This look works best with long thick hair, that has a tendency to hold a curl for a good amount of time. Ask your hairdresser, but if you can pull this off, it's a fun and easy, plus you won't have to worry about your hair all night.

Asian Black Hairstyles
Asian Black Hairstyles
There is a great variety of Asian hairstyles available for the person looking for one. Indeed, keeping in mind the vastness of cultures that consider themselves Asian, the number of Asian hairstyles to choose from is so huge that one can never quite explore all of them; and one actually has to just go with the Asian Hairstyle that offers something close to the look they desire.
Asian Black Hairstyles
What makes the availability of so many Asian hairstyles possible is the fact that that Asian hair is very highly workable – so that if you have Asian hair, by simply arranging the hair in a different way every morning, you can end up with a new and absolutely authentic hairstyle every morning that is absolutely different from the one you wore the previous day.
Nonetheless, perhaps as a result of popular people in the society wearing them, some Asian hairstyles have come to be popular than others – with many of these spreading their appeal far beyond the Asian continent.
A good example of these Asian hairstyles that has found widespread appeal beyond the confines of Asia is the flippy haircut, which makes a particularly appealing option for people with hair that is considered of medium height (which in other parts of the world might be considered very long hair). As the name suggests, the flippy haircut is made by growing your hair to medium height till it falls over to your shoulders, and then flipping it towards the eye (left or right) on the front part of head, to end up with that hard to ignore look. To enhance the look, you might also consider parting it in the middle. This look, though widely found all over the world today, has its look in Asia.
Another example of the Asian hairstyles that have found widespread appeal beyond the confines of the Indian continent is the hairstyle known as the ‘short bob.’ Here, the idea is to make the hair into short bobs (by growing it to medium height, but never letting it fall over) and then treating and combing it so that the bobs, at least most of them, lie to the left and to the right of the head, rather than to the back of the head.
The curled look is yet another of the Asian hairstyle that have found widespread appeal outside Asia. The way Asian hair curls though, has made it difficult for non Asians to replicate this exact look, unless they first subject their hair to treatment that makes it look like Asian hair before curling it. The distinguishing thing with Asian hair curls is that they tend to grow a bit wispy – which can often result in a very alluring look. The curled Asian hairstyles work best for very long hair, and thankfully, in most Asian cultures, growing one’s hair very long is not socially frowned upon – of course as long as you can take good care of it.

Best Bobs for Round Faces
The best bobs for round faces happen to be any of them that frame the face. With a round face, it is hard to find hairstyles that work because generally round faces are chubbier than the other face shapes. We want our hair to flatter our appearance, not have it stand out our flaws even more. A bob cut that would be really nice for such a shape, is a layered bob that is flipped inward toward the face. If the bangs are as long as the hair, cut them so they aren’t and have them straightened to cover one’s forehead. This will give the face a smaller, thinner look.
It’s a good idea not to flip the hair outward with a round face shape, because then it looks wider than it already is. The key is the slimming effect. Another bob style that would look nice on a round face shape is having more hair in the top layers, and a really thin under layer. Keep the bangs parted to the side, cut in a way that when parted, it seems like they are all different lengths.
Hair products can help the hairstyle drastically, so include them after completion of the style as most are meant to be used on dry hair. Conditioners are practically the only product which has been designed to use with wet hair and therefore others such as sprays and pomades should be avoided, as they are meant to finish the style and add these touches, which cannot be completed while the hair is still wet and has yet to be styled.
