here are so many things for a bride to consider in planning a wedding day, including her selection of hairstyle. Choosing the right wedding hairstyle needs to reflect the bride’s personality and how she likes to present herself. She should feel at her most beautiful on this special day, so finding the right wedding hairstyle is an important part of it. Women who have longer hair have lots of choices of long wedding hairstyles.

Don’t be tempted to try a completely new hairstyle for your wedding. If the bride has had long hair for quite some time, and she has been comfortable with that, it is best to work with her hair at that length. She should only get a trim to keep her ends fresh, rather than making a big change.Weddings are an emotional time, and there are many ways they can put pressure on a bride. There are so many things to stay on top of so suddenly feeling very different as a result of an appearance change can leave a bride feeling vulnerable and upset.

Now, let’s consider various long wedding hairstyles that make wonderful choices for brides with long hair. The first choice is whether the bride wants to wear her hair in an updo, long and flowing, or partially swept up. The factors that go into making a decision are the type of wedding dress, which way the bride feels most comfortable and most beautiful, jewelry that is to be worn, as well as hair adornments such as veils and barrettes. Generally speaking, a bride will keep her hair the same way for the ceremony and reception, so being comfortable in it for an entire day is important. A helpful way to decide on the style, is to take photos ahead of time, so she can more objectively see what she will look like in each.

Wedding dresses with bare shoulders and low necklines go well with long, flowing hairstyles. Wearing a long, flowing hairstyle with a high-necked wedding dress that covers the chest may look too busy overall. However low cut, bare-shouldered dresses can really suit an updo, with long curling tendrils pulled down from it, and drop earrings.

Topknots are also an elegant, timeless choice for women with long hair. They frame the face, draw attention to the eyes, and display jewelry very well.

Whichever long wedding hairstyle a bride chooses, there are different ways to adorn the hair, such as placing small clips, barrettes, or special curled pieces throughout the style. Ensure that whatever style you choose will work well with your wedding veil. Brides with long hair have many beautiful choices for their wedding hairstyles.

If you are with the idea to preserve wedding bouquet, you need to speak to the floral preservationist, much earlier. There are companies, who give you tips to preserve the bouquet before they collect and process it.

There are some preservation companies that provide with re-hydration spray to seal and retain the moisture so that the flowers are not wilted before it is sent to the floral preservers. Most of the companies follow what is called vacuum freeze-drying, which is rated as the best. This method retains the natural look and beauty of the flowers and is regarded as long lasting preservation method.

However, before the freeze-drying method is followed the flowers are re-hydrated using a re-hydration spray so that the moisture is retained and the flowers do not have a wilted look.

After re-hydration treatment, the flowers are given a treatment to hold back their natural color and open the cells of the flowers, so that moisture is removed evenly from all flowers and give them a uniform color. Then the flowers are frozen before freeze-drying is done.

The time to keep the flowers in dryers is decided on several factors, such as flower types used in a bouquet and the thickness of petals etc. However, usually they are kept in dryers for about 10-15 days, and then removed to be put in controlled low humidity conditions for another 3 days.

To enhance the floral color and retain it for long periods, special dyes are applied and then given polymer coats to prevent sun and humidity damage to the flowers. Once this is done, they can be done they are designed as per the taste of people. While some prefer a shadow laminate, others prefer air-tight transparent vase displays.

To preserve a wedding bouquet, there are some inexpensive methods as well. Hang the bouquet upside down and in a dark place. Once dried, it is sprayed with special acrylic spray to prevent petals from falling off. Silica gel is also used to dry the flowers and once drying is complete the bouquet is sprayed with acrylic floral spray and can be designed according to individual’s tastes.

Luckily long hair can be styled many ways – from formal to more casual. So when it comes to wedding hairstyles for long hair you’ll find there are many options. Here are four.

Classic Swept Updo

Long Layered Cut

The French Twist

An Elegant Bun

For instance one good style for long hair is the classic swept up do. It can be a stunning hair style that suits almost any face. It will really complement any wedding dress too. Especially the long flowing type. The swept up do also looks great beneath the veil. And don’t forget the look of classic updos are always fashionable and they are real head-turners.

You could also get a long layered cut. It works well with either wavy or straight hair. If you like this can be adorned with a variety of wedding hair accessories. Use mousse for texture and after blow drying tousle with your fingers a bit for the finishing touch. A long layered cut offers a casual look but one that’s still very polished.

Wedding Hair Style Tip: Stop by the beauty salon weeks before the big day to check out the possible wedding hairstyles for long hair. You stylist can make you aware of some good ideas. Plus they should be able to let you see how any of these dos would look on you. They can also advise which of the many wedding hairstyles for long hair suits you and your hair best. Making it easier to choose.

Of course the French twist is another timeless style. It’s one that works well with high neckline gowns and girls with hair that falls just past the shoulders. Anymore you want the veil situated slightly farther back. To get that have your stylist give the twist a bit more height.

Favorite wedding hairstyles for long hair come in another flavor too.

Why not consider the classic bun accented with say a pearl and gold headband? The stylist may work from a French twist or a ponytail. Most feel that working from the twist makes it easier to form and preserve the bun.
