I think this is OK for now, because people must get used to new things and after a while it will be totally accepted. Let’s not forget that there were some periods in history when women weren’t allowed either to wear lipstick and we got to a point where women feel naked if they don’t have any lipstick on.
Maybe in the future there will be some lipsticks created for men too, and so it won’t be that awkward for a man to buy a lipstick for himself, although I don’t think that there will be any difference between the lipstick for women and the lipstick for men, but nevertheless, it sounds way better and people care about appearances.
