How To Trim Mens Fingernails

Clean the nail first, then file it, but only from one direction to the center. Cutting your nails with scissors is another option. A faster, but less precise, procedure. Cut the hang nails, but not the rim that protects the nail bed. The length of your nails’ whites should be of 1-2 millimeters. Apply then on every nail, a special cuticle cream and rub it well into the cuticle. If you like better cuticle remover, than use it instead of cream. Soak your nails, for about ten minutes, into the warm water. The cuticles will be softer and the dirt under the nail will be removed, as well as the small particles remained after filing. With a soft brush scrub your nails and hands. The stains, calluses and rough edges can be treated with a wet pumice stone. Dry your hands and use the orange stick to push down cuticles. No metal instruments are allowed for this procedure. Buff your nails to smooth then their surface. Do it only in one direction, so that your nails wouldn’t get hot. For a special shine you may use a polishing paste, which you can buy at every drug store. Finally comes a clear nail polish. Another idea is to apply base coat or light enamel, and wipe fast the nail with a cotton stick. The result will surprise you.
A manicure kit is a must have now. Along the years, the set suffered a lot of changes. Today the instruments are made of stainless steel, and their design is very practical and trendy. It has to contain the following components:
-finger and toe nail clipper, the last one able to cut the strongest toenails.
-Small scissors – used both for trimming nails or to cut hair from nose, ear or whiskers
-emery board – made of sand paper or steel, is used to file your nails
-nail buffer
-tweezers
-cuticle pusher – made of plastic
-razor with blades
-pocket knife
-nail brush
You can choose for a car kit, because it is more compact, and takes up less space. It is true that the instruments are smaller than usually, but they do their job.
If you still don’t know how to trim men fingernails or you have no time at all, go a salon. Here you will receive a nice treatment, having result fine manicure. Pay attention to some important aspects, such as the sterilization of tools, to avoid receiving an infection. The person who does your nails must be licensed and wear latex gloves while working.
