The first braid that I am going to tell you about is the Basic English braid. This is one of the most common braids and it is easy to create. You should start by dividing the hair into three equal sections. Next cross the right section over the center section. Pull the sections from each other to tighten the brad. Next cross the left section over the middle section (that previously was the right section). You should tighten the brad again. Continue the process until you get to the end of the hair and secure it with a ponytail-holder.

The next braided hairstyle that I am going to present is the fishtail or herringbone braid. In this case you should divide a small section of hair into two sections and that will be the starting point of the braid. Comb these sections and then cross the right one over the left section. Tighten the plait and then using the end of a rat tail comb lift a small section of hair on the right and add the section to the existing right section. Again cross the left section with the right one and add a new section from the left to the existing section from the left then cross again. Continue the process until you get to the nape of the neck. At that point secure the hair with a ponytail holder or a band. You can let the end loose or you could continue with the English Braid. The last style that I am going to present is the French Braid. Again start by selecting a small section of hair where you want the braiding to start and divide it into three even sections. Comb the sections and then cross the center section with the right section. Tighten the plait and then cross the center section with the left section. Tighten the plait again and by using the end of a rat tail comb, add sections to both the left and right sections. Make the two crosses agan and add some other sections to the hair. You should do this until you get to the nape of the neck and then finish the hairstyle with the English Braid or after securing the hair, let the rest loose.
