Celebrity Bob Hairstyles

When we are talking about celebrity bob hairstyles there are some celebrities that must be mentioned. In this article I am going to tell you about the best celebrity bob hairstyles of the past few years and I hope that you will find one that you like.

The first hairstyle is the one of Paris Hilton. Her bob hairstyle also features some bangs that frame her face and they draw the attention over her eyes. The length is about chin length and the truth is that this hairstyle looks a lot better on her then her long hairstyles, balancing her facial features.

Another celebrity that must be taken into consideration is Jennifer Aniston. It is said that when she got her hair cut in 2001 she deeply regretted making this choice but the hairstyle that she has chosen was really versatile and chic. This hairstyle is great for those who don’t want a screaming bob but they want something of the sort.

Mariska Hargitay has proven that the bob is works absolutely amazing with her face shape. The side part that she has and the shattered back give the hairstyle movement and galore. In case you have a full face, having a sleek hairstyle might really balance this little problem.

I think we might say that the trendsetter of the bob was Rihanna. She got a dramatic and asymmetrical angled bob hairstyle. The fact that she had the longest layers in the front really made her face look nice and enhanced the facial features that she has.

The hairstyle of Michelle Williams proves the fact that a bob hairstyle might be very versatile. She had the shortest bob possible and she created a fantastic retro hairstyle with waves and bangs and the most important thing about the hairstyle is that she got her hair tucked behind the ears.

Christina Applegate had a very sexy bob at one point. It was a bit asymmetric and the length was below the chin in the front that fell forward and they slightly hid her eyes for a mysterious look. The advantage of this hairstyle is that it is long enough to create an up-do as well.

There are three words to characterize the hairstyle of Ginnifer Goodwin: chic, simple and sweet. She had a completely symmetrical hairstyle that offers a lot of styling options and she wore her hair totally sleek. If you have this hairstyle you might also add some waves to create a whole another look.

When talking about celebrity bob hairstyles we must mention Katie Holmes as well. She also set a trend with this hairstyle. At one point she had an asymmetrical bob hairstyle with nags in order to add some softness. This is a modern and stylish hairstyle without being trendy.

Jennifer Hudson is also worth to be mentioned with her shattered bob. This hairstyle looks great on everybody and you can avoid having bad hair days with this hairstyle because it is easy and fast to style.

Consider Something Different than a Ponytail Hairstyle

Consider Something Different than a Ponytail Hairstyle picturesDo you find yourself constantly tempted to wear your hair in a ponytail hairstyle? Not only can this get boring after a while but many people find that when they are constantly wearing their hair in a ponytail the hair can become stressed and can therefore get pulled from the head. Although it is completely natural to lose some amount of hair through the day and through the week, there is no reason to cause the hair to become even weaker through the roots as the ponytail pulls at the roots.

Although you may not think that there are many other options that are available when it comes to your hair without spending more time on the hair – there are! Learning methods that can be used to straighten the hair in a flash or even learning methods that can be used to pull the hair into a simple and loose updo can give the style the bounce that is needed and the break from being pulled back into a tight ponytail.

Do you work in a job where the hair must be pulled back from the face? Changing the way that the ponytail is worn can help to protect the hair. This includes making use of the ponytail through different areas of the head, wearing the ponytail low and high and even making use of the styles that can be created with a twist, or using a headband to pull the hair back from the face. This can ensure that there is not repeated stress being placed through one section of the hair and that the hair can remain in the best possible shape.

Small things make a big difference, however. A terrible case of bed head can make your expensive fancy dress look not so great. Why spend time making yourself up or money on flashy jewelry, when all eyes will be on your gnarled, messy hair do? Regardless of what type of hair you’re dealing with, there are prom hairstyles to compliment your look. For professional salon hair, consulting with a stylist before your big day can alleviate some of your concerns and will guarantee that you look your best.

For girls with short hair, there are not as many options as with medium and longer hair lengths but there are plenty of short hairstyles that look formal and cute and become a good option for an event like the prom. Depending on the length of the short cut, there are a variety of looks that some women will find very complimentary. Short cuts will range from very short pixie cuts to longer hair that comes above the chin. The key to choosing short hairstyles for prom, is to find the hairstyles that provide a formal look that is both cute and chic. Adding some hair accessories to some hairstyles is also a great option for an event like this. Jewelry and hair bands can turn a simple short cut into a very chic look.

There are of course many benefits from choosing short prom hairstyles, as they are easy to create and take much less time to get ready. As it is for a prom it should be formal in looks and therefore may need the use of styling tools, colors and highlights, to create the perfect look.

The prom hairstyles for long hair of not so long ago was a completely different story than today. After that came the main prom hair styling technique of the day! These hair stylists knew how to RAT, that is, backcombing or teasing, taken to a violent extreme which made your hair like a rat’s nest and stay put for months.

bridesmaid dress pictures

bridesmaid dress picturesOne of my female friends got married last year, and I was asked to be her bridesmaid. Now, this is very flattering. I said yes! I didn’t realize at that time how much work would be involved. Don’t make that same mistake, here are some common issues that you should be aware of before agreeing to be a bridesmaid for any wedding. You have to wear the dress the bride picks out. Sometimes these are flattering but more often they are just hideous and expensive. You have to pay for the dress, for the matching shoes, and for any alterations that need to be done. My sister ended up paying more than two hundred dollars for an ugly ensemble she never wanted to see again after the wedding!

You aren’t done with expense and trouble after the dress either. You’ll end up having to host a bridal shower. This is a party that you need to plan for the bride. You are going to need to figure out where it will be, send out the invites, make or purchase food, and be there to make sure it all comes off smoothly. That’s one party for the bride down and one to go. You still have to organize and host the bachelorette party. This used to be a simple night out on the town with the girls, to blow off steam. As some brides have gotten more and more high-maintenance, they have turned this into a huge event that may require you and the guests to go to another city or even to an island destination. At your own cost of course.

After the parties are over you have the prep day, also known as the day before the wedding, and the wedding itself. On prep day you and the bride and the rest of the wedding party will be having whatever beauty procedures you are required to have, such as manicures. On the wedding day, you’ll have tasks to do all day long and it will be pretty complicated. When I was a bridesmaid, they used a color-coded chart so that I knew where to be and when. It was kind of crazy. I was tracked from nine a.m. until midnight.

The day of the wedding is all about making sure the bride is ready and prepared at all times. First you have to help with hair and makeup. Next, you have to help with her dress. Then pictures, and so on. There are a lot of things to do to make sure the bride’s big day is perfect. Remember, it is a big honor to be asked to be a bridesmaid, but don’t get carried away with your excitement. It’s work! You need to figure out if you have the time and resources to follow through, if you do agree to do it. If you do, it can be a great experience to share with a friend.
