bridesmaid picturesAs a bride, you may be called upon to give bridesmaid jewellery as gifts to your bridesmaids. Not only will these jewellery pieces make your bridesmaids’ outfits more spectacular, but the act of giving them will be seen as a thoughtful gesture on your part. By giving these ladies bridesmaid jewellery, you are just showing how much you appreciate their being there with you as you went through the process of tending to all the details of your wedding.

When you were shopping for bridal jewellery, or jewellery you will wear with your wedding gown, you must have found a lot of options open to you in terms of designs and styles. The same goes for bridesmaid jewellery. But if you want something more unique and special, you should look into giving your bridesmaids Celtic jewelry.

The Unique Symbolism of Celtic Jewelry

Celtic-style jewellery has always been held with fascination even by those who do not have Celt heritage in the family. That is because Celtic jewelry is unique in its beauty, with its solid knot-works and fanciful filigrees. Jewellery designed in the Celtic style, more often than not, are whimsical and at the same time romantic.

But the romance of Celtic-inspired jewellery comes from the fact that such pieces can be very symbolic. The symbolism of jewellery designed in the Celtic style reflects nature, the relationships that people have with nature, the relationships they have with other people, as well as the values and virtues that they hold close to their hearts.

The shapes emphasised in a particular design of Celtic-inspired jewellery denote certain ideas. For instance, the circle motif is a symbol for harmony, commitment and constancy. Spirals indicate growth in times of change. The common trinity symbol – shown as three intersecting circles, triangles or even spirals – is a representation of unity.

Choosing Celtic Jewelry for Your Bridesmaid Jewellery

Wise people say that if you want something badly, you need to surround yourself with images and symbols that represent whatever it is that you desire. On your wedding day, you would naturally want to surround yourself with symbols of everlasting love and happiness. You can do this by accessorising your bridal gown with Celtic-inspired wedding jewellery and by giving similar jewellery for your bridesmaids to wear. The symbolism will not be lost on your bridesmaids and they will want to don those jewellery pieces too.

When you search for Celtic-inspired jewellery, you may as well go for designer jewelry. They may be a bit pricier than your usual mass-produced Celtic jewellery, but the quality spells the difference. The designs would be richer and more outstanding, and you can expect more than just the typical spiral pendant or Celtic cross. Your bridesmaids will truly love these one-of-a-kind designer jewelry gifts that you will give them and they will respect you a lot more for giving more thought to these gifts.

Many brides present their bridesmaids with bridesmaid jewellery. This is a way for them to show how much they appreciate the assistance that their bridesmaids have lent them whilst arranging the details of the wedding. If it is your intention to give your bridesmaids such gifts, you can make your gifts more special by choosing Celtic-style designer jewellery.

Throughout time, women have always desired to possess the elegance of royalty and celebrities during their own wedding ceremony, from the gown to the hairstyle worn by famous women.

From ancient times to the present, women have used various wedding hairstyles to look not only their best, but to preserve the look of elegance and awe for everyone attending the celebration of their wedding. In Rome, women would dye their hair, normally a golden red, wear hair extension to give them longer, fuller, and thicker hair, wear their hair up with jeweled hairpins, and wear it down and curled in ringlets. So, no matter where you look throughout history you will find that many of the wedding hairstyles whether they are long hairstyles, short hairstyles, hair extension or worn long and styled beautifully each one compliments the style of wedding gown the bride has chosen.

Today, women look to movie stars for their glamorous wedding hairstyles. Each and every year, some celebrity is seen during their wedding on television or in the popular magazines showing off their wedding gown and the wedding hairstyle they chose for this special occasion. This is what is considered to be in the in-style theme of the year.

If you go back to the roaring 20′s you will see that many stars wore their hair in a bob style and if you notice many wedding hairstyles were this short hairstyle. However, some women would of course prefer longer hairstyles or wearing their hair in an up-do.

Royalty in Europe also sets the stage when it comes to wedding hairstyles. Princess Dianna had a short wedding hairstyle and any place you looked for a few years many women were styling their wedding hairstyles in the same fashion.

During the 60′s in the US, it was the long hairstyles that made it in the wedding scene. Many wore long hairstyles or hair extensions and the used flowers and beaded headbands to compliment their wedding gown. Since, several weddings during the 1960′s were performed outdoors, the mood was more casual and comfortable, so more casual wedding hairstyles were seen.

Today, to learn what wedding hairstyle is in fashion, you can turn to television, but as the majority of women are concerned, they want to look glamorous, stunning, and have a wedding gown and wedding hairstyle that will be remembered.

Long hairstyles throughout history have been the favorite of most brides, because it adds sophistication and elegance to a wedding ceremony and reception accordingly. However, you can always search through different bridal magazines throughout the years to learn just how popular each wedding hairstyle has been from long hairstyles, to short hairstyles, to hair extensions and how each one has complimented the bride and her wedding gown.

Cool Hairstyles For Teens

It is a well known fact that kids these days grow up a lot faster than a generation before and this can be seen from the way they see things even at a very fragile age. I think that the society is getting more and more concerned about the physical appearance and the personal qualities are losing value. Maybe this is the reason why even teenagers are spending most of their time in front of a mirror, beauty magazines and so on.

I’m not saying that they shouldn’t care about their looks, but I think that some teenagers are way too concerned about it and so they become superficial. They want to grow up the fast as they can and they want to look as the adults do.

From my point of view teenagers should be just teenagers having fun, enjoying their youth. When it comes to cool hairstyles for teens there is a lot of debate regarding what is considered to be cool and what not. As everything in the world, this is changing as well… seasonally. The good thing about being a teenager is that their hair still grows quite fast and so they can try a lot of hairstyles and they can change the hairstyle they have quite often. I would advise all teenagers to experiment the most they can with their hair so that later they will know what looks good on them and what doesn’t.

A very good source for finding cool hairstyles for teens is to take a look at the celebrities. One of the hairstyles that is very fashionable these days is the bob. You might think that bobs are old-fashioned, but if you add a few layers and bangs you sure will get one of the trendiest hairstyles. Teenagers are also ‘allowed’ to use some colors on their hair that later might look awkward but for now it’s OK. You could spice up the bob with some strands that have a more unusual color.

While people are teenagers they should keep in mind to choose hairstyles that are relatively easy to maintain so that they won’t have to check their hair every five minutes. The most easily maintained hairstyles are those that feature short hair. At the moment the most popular short hairstyles besides bobs include crops, shaggy hairstyles, spikes, Mohawks and flips.

If you don’t like short hair then maybe you should consider having medium length hair that is a bit harder to maintain, but still it doesn’t need that much time. They have a very big advantage: there is a lot you can do with it: tie it, let it loose or create any other hairdo that you wish. The most fashionable styles include curly hairstyles, blunt hairstyles (in this case all the hair has the same length), undercut and shag. Cool long hairstyles include the layered hairstyles, curls and bangs. You should know that long hair requires a lot of care so that it will be healthy and it is advisable not to have very long hair for a long period of time.
