Hairstyle & Haircut Collection by Addie Keller

Max Factor Perfection Lipstick Petal

I am perfectly convinced that there isn’t one woman on the face of Earth who hasn’t heard about Max Factor. Even so Most of the people don’t know too much about it, so let me tell you a little something about it. Max Factor is a cosmetics company that was founded in 1909 by a Polish-Jewish cosmetician artist caller Maximilian Faktorowitz. I am sure that at this point you know where the name came from.

During the golden years of Hollywood the brand Max Factor was associated with film making and it is interesting to know that the term ‘makeup’ was invented by him. After Max Factor’s death the company was take over by his immediate family but after a while they deceased as well and the brand was owned by different companies (for example by Revlon) until 1991 when Procter & Gamble Co. bought it and at this moment they still own it.

The history lesson is over, so let’s talk about the cosmetics. Over the years Max Factor has had many popular lines, one of them being Color Perfection. It is said that these lipsticks have a smooth, gel-based formula, containing micro-layers of pigment. Layer after layer is revealed, keeping your color fresh and flawless for hours. It is also said that it moisturizes the lips so they will look even shinier. One of the most popular shades is Max Factor Perfection Lipstick Petal. Petal has a pinkish color, but not that usual baby pink, this one is a rather mature pink. It has a bit of red in it, without becoming aggressive.

These lipsticks can be bought in most of the beauty shops. If you don’t want to go to a shop, it is easy to buy it online. You can order it from the company’s official website or from other websites such as eBay or Amazon. If you buy from such websites toy should make sure that the product is still new, that it wasn’t used before by checking that it has the original package. I’m not saying that you shouldn’t order from such websites, I’m just saying that it is better to be careful than to have regrets later.

Max Factor Perfection Lipstick Petal is advantageous for almost any woman regardless the skin color or the hair color (even so I suggest to be careful if you have white skin and darker hair because it might make you look a little pale). Nevertheless I wouldn’t recommend it to older women, because instead of making them look younger, it might make them look older, because it is a quite ‘fresh’ color and it might contrast the image suggested by the lipstick with the real person’s image.

We all know that the cosmetics produced by Max Factor are good quality so i don’t see any reason why you shouldn’t get one of these lipstick-s, even if you don’t like Petal or if it doesn’t look good on you i am sure that you will find something that will suite you.

2009 Hairstyle: Women’s Short Hairstyles

When you think of short hairstyles, what usually comes to mind is hair that is cut way above the shoulders or even those extremely short pixie cuts that often scares women away from a shorter cut.

Hijab

Hijab

According to Islamic scholarship it has a wider meaning of modesty, privacy and morality. It means curtain in Arabic and a meta-physical definition of ‘al-hijab’ is a veil which separates man or the world from God. Hijabs have been a prominent part of Islamic tradition since the 1970s. Opinions as to how the garment should be worn vary from person to person within the Muslim faith.

Hijab

In the Qur’an the hijab is not referred to as an article of islamic clothing for women or men, rather as a spiritual curtain providing it’s wearer with privacy. The Qur’an instructs male Muslims to talk to the wives of Muhammed only behind a hijab. The issue of modesty within the Qur’an applies to men and women’s gazes, gaits, garments and genitalia. Women are expected to wear jilbabs (cloaks) in public to prevent them from harm.

Muslim women are required to wear the hijab in front of any man whom they could theoretically marry. Therefore it does not have to be worn in front of fathers, brothers, grandfathers, uncles or young children. It is also not compulsory to wear the garment in front of another Muslim woman.

Islamic modesty is interpreted uniquely by each practicing individual depending on their specific beliefs. Some women wear full body garments leaving only their eyes visible; whilst others only feel it necessary to cover their hair and cleavage.

The rules of concealment are generally relaxed for elderly women. It is commonly viewed that they are past the prospect of marriage and therefore may lay aside their outer garments. However, they still must not make a wanton display of their beauty.
