New Hairstyles
I am sure you noticed that each period has a hairstyle that is typical for that time. For example the hairstyle that pops into the mind of most of the people when talking about ancient Egypt is the Cleopatra style. The eighteenth century reminds us about those high hairstyles worn by the French aristocrats or the wigs worn by English people belonging to the high society.
The later periods, around the two World Wars makes us remember the hairdo worn especially by English women that involved waves and some kind of bun. Later, in the 1970’s there was a fashionable hairstyle that is very easy to recognize the messy, medium length hairstyle that is typical for that period.
At the moment I am not sure whether there is one hairstyle that later will be easy to identify, because there are various styles that are considered to be trendy. Still the trends change many women cut their hair to follow the trend. Still we know that this isn’t the only reason for new hairstyles.
A new hairstyle might mean a lot of things for us. A change in the appearance always marks a kind of new beginning, and I think that every change of style changes the personality as well, even if just a little bit. Since the hairstyle we have tells a little something about us to those around us, it happens often that people wish to try something new, something daring and after a time his personality will change in order to similar with the hairstyle.
Most of the cases the opposite happens, the hairstyle is made depending on the personality. I think that although most people wouldn’t admit it, there is always a little change, because we often can’t have the hairstyle that suits us best. I am not saying that this change is something negative, no. In fact I think that is something very good, because this way our personality develops.
Usually finding new hairstyles is quite hard because we worry about the fact that maybe it won’t look as good on us as on the model. Another factor that influences our decision is that we think that a hairstyle looks good on somebody, but it is very possible that the person in question has an army of stylists to help him or her prepare for an event or a photo shooting. We must know that probably the style won’t look on us the same because most of us do not have the money or the time to go to a hair salon every day.
Although all the problems a new hairstyle might cause, I think that it is worth it because a change has a refreshing effect on us and our mood will be better for a period. If you feel the need for a change, I suggest to start with your hair, because when you see that somebody else looks back from the mirror than the person you were used to, makes a big difference.
