And typically reserved for those fortunate enough to have the kind of shiny black hair we associate with the Oriental look.These days, Asian hair is increasingly in the spotlight with many Asian and Asian-American celebrities gracing the covers of fashion and film magazines.

Ngoc Huynh is a Vietnamese hair stylist who describes Asian hair as “hard” compared to other hair types because it is heavy, straight and quite resistant to curling and coloring.
This may be why so many women with Asian hair opt for a style that cooperates with their hair’s natural tendency to lie flat.
Huynh says the most popular Asian hair style in her country at the moment is what she calls the leaf or Japanese cut. This style builds layers into a pointed shape, making the most of the hair’s natural body and thickness. But Huynh says a new style is starting to take over from the long, straight look.

She had some short layers in the front, which might also be considered long bangs. The color of her hair was brown with blonde highlights. Amber Valletta opted for a short, straight hairstyle. She has chosen a bob hairstyle that is side parted. The truth is that this type of parting is quite unusual in the case of bob hairstyles, but she looked stunning with it. She has chosen to have side swept bangs as well that are great to frame the face and her hair color is blonde over a dark base. Amy Irving decided to do something different with her hair and she has chosen a short hairstyle and extremely curly hair. She has layers all over her hair that add shape and texture to the hairstyle. Her hair color is somewhere in the middle between blonde and brown and she has blonde highlights that really create the illusion that she has some kind of crown.
In this period Christina Vidal has chosen to have long hair with curls and I think that it was a very good idea to let it loose. It looks very nice around her face and it creates a frame that is right for the facial structure that she has. Her hair was dark brown and she had some blue and purple streaks.
