Black Updo Hairstyles

The advantages of the Black up do hairstyles are numerous. For example they help to emphasize the facial traits of the person because there is no hair to hide the face. It has another benefit too: there isn’t a big need for makeup especially for this reason. The face will seem to be more ‘opened’ and so women can use more neutral colors.

There are many methods to create an up-do. One of the most well known features braids and celebrity who is known for having this hairstyle is Alicia Keys. I suppose you have already seen her amazing up-dos and you can draw the conclusions for yourself. If a woman has an up-do then she looks very elegant, sophisticated and sexy. Still it is important not to have such a hairstyle too often because people will get used to it and there won’t be anything interesting about it anymore.

Black up do hairstyles might also feature some highlights. Not necessarily blond strands, but there are many other colors that are advantageous for black women. For example a dark blue might be a very interesting color to try and because most black women have dark hair, it looks very good on them. You might also like to try gold, dark red or auburn, which will look great for the same reason. The advice that I can give you is to try to use dark colors rather than to create a contrast. You should ask your hairstylist about this matter.

Here is one hairstyle that I think you would like to try out: straighten the hair section by section and don’t forget to take small sections because it is easier to straighten this way and it is more effective. When the whole hair is straightened you should put op two thirds of it and as you pull down the straightener, twist it to create curls. The more twist you make the tighter the curls will be. When you are done you should spray the hair with glossing hair spray to give it a shine. You could also create an easy up-do for example by clipping half of it up or by tying the hair into a messy ponytail. You could also braid a part of it and curl the rest.

Pictures Of Short Hairstyles For Women

short hairstyles for womenMany women believe that if you have short hair your hairstyles are generally limited.  This however is not the case.  If you are looking for ideas for short hairstyles there are a few great places to begin your search.

The first is an online search.  There are hundreds of photo galleries on the internet with pictures of short hair.  You can use Google, Yahoo, Bing, Altavista etc. to locate different galleries.  Once there they provide ideas, and even step by step ways to create the same looks.

The second place is fashion magazines.  Many celebrities are sporting short hair these days, and you can get great ideas from looking at how they are wearing their hair.  Another way to find pictures of hairstyles is to look through hair style magazines.  These magazines often feature celebrity hairstyles as well as pictures of other women wearing great short hairstyles.

The third place to find pictures of short hairstyles is at an actual hair salon.  Most salons keep current hairstyle books up front for customers to browse through to help them find ideas.  These books are a great way for a client to find what they are looking for while also being able to provide the stylist with not only an idea but a picture to help them see just exactly what it is the client is after.

How to Use Colored Hair Gel

How to Use Colored Hair Gel picturesThere are many ways that you can use colored hair gel within the hairstyle. Colored hair gel can help to bring a look to the next level, using colors through the style to increase the funkiness of the look or even helping to create a custom look for crazy hair day for children. Since colored hair gels are easily removed from the hair it can be simple to find a look that works – even for children’s hair.

There are many colors that are available through these popular products. Crazy hair gel is available in blue and green, red and yellow. The colors can even be mixed together and combined through the hair to create a custom look through the style.

Using the colored hair gel is simple. Just as traditional gel is applied to the hair, colored gel can be applied to the hair in the same manner, to dry hair. The areas where the gel is applied to the hair will often change color, depending on the original color of the hair.

It is important to realize that certain colors of the gel may not be brightly seen in darker hair color and it is important to choose colors that are going to show through. In the case of darker hair you may have to use more vibrant hair colors or you may have to simply use more of the gel to achieve the look that you would like within the hair.

The gel should not be applied to wet hair as it may not adhere to the hair and create a look that isn’t going to get the full appearance of the colored gel within the hairstyle.
